Bingo Worker Cancellation Policy

We have been having some issues with people cancelling their shifts giving very little notice or not showing up without giving notice. 
For this reason we will be implementing the following policy: 
(1) If you do not show up for a scheduled shift without notice you will be immediately removed from the bingo list and will not be able to return until the next hockey season.
(2) If you cancel for your scheduled shifts without giving at least 24 hours notice (by 5:30pm on Monday) on two occasions you will be removed from the bingo list and will not be able to return until the next hockey season.  I do understand that at times people may have emergencies or come down with illnesses which is why I have allowed for there to be two occurrences. 
 
Unfortunately we have some workers who habitually cancel last minute or do not give notice and this will no longer be tolerated.  We have to stop this behaviour because it makes it extremely difficult  to find replacements.  We have a fantastic group of workers and when given enough notice there are many who would like to the opportunity to pick up shifts.
